UNLOCK YOUR BLOG HEADER

In almost all the blog templates ,the header of the blog is fixed means you can not move it ,though you can delete it but can not drag it to side bar and moreover you can not add widgets to your header either by drag & drop or by add a widget option .

Dear friends what I am going to tell you that all most 60 % of Ad revenue from google comes from the header's ads ,if you can check on my main blog simple tax india ,I have placed two link ads 728 X15 and one ad unit of Google 728 X 15 in header ,I have earned 33% ads from two link units and from other ad unit 23 %.The reason of this is, link units are appers to be web site navigation links and visitors generall click it with a intent to browse the site but it ends with a bucks for me ,though by doing this ,my average page per visit has been very thin.Clicks on two link units in last month 3916 and ad unit in header 1721......that is too good for me .

1. Go to blogger Dashboard > layout>edit html
2. click on expand widgets templates
   
3. Take a back up of your template
   
4. find the following code
5. Now to unlock the header :Change the "true "with "false"
6. To enable to add more widgets in header change "maxwidgets='1' to any number 2,3 as you u like.
7. To enable the add a widget button in the header change showaddelement=no to yes

By doing this you will able to do the following

1. you can drag & drop a element in header and vice versa.
2. you button add a widget will be working in header also.
3. you can paste more than one widget in header section.
4. you can drag your header widget from header to side bar.
